Spring Horizon | Canvas Print

Many people have asked if the flowers in this painting are peonies. I tell them yes. To be honest, it wasn’t important to me that they be a specific flower. I wanted to paint a suggestion of a flower and for it to be beautiful. I remember working on this painting and loving the first layers. I didn’t want to lose the love I found in those first strokes. It turns out, a lot of the strokes changed but I was able to keep the original beauty I first fell in love with. To this day, this painting is the one I most often hang above the sofa in my own living room. I hope you love it like I do. Enjoy! - Amber
